Audio Track out of sync on Video Playback

    Smart TV: 46PFL5007/12
Playback of videos from Windows Media Player and Twonky Media Player and from USB devices.
I have videos where the audio track is out of sync with the video track. If I use VLC Media Player on a PC, I can adjust the delay (say by about 0.2 sec) to obtain a much improved entertainment experience. However, I have not found a way to adjust the audio channel delay on my Philips Smart TV. Is this issue going to be addressed in a future FW update?

    Hi Anony-mouse,

Unfortunately if the video is out of sync, it is not possible to adjust the delay through the television.
I will address your request to the software development team and this feature may be considered for future updates.

    Regards,
    Marco

Thanks for pushing through the request. Could you also ask the s/w team to look at 1: putting the total media (video and audio) play time on the pop-up bar, not just the time into the media, 2: also putting the current local time on the screen in the Info button press, 3: getting the TV to remember the position in the media for when accidentally exiting the media replay (sadly in a long movie or TV replay, fast forward is not always available).
