3D to 2D function.
Hi,
I'm new at the forum, I did my best to find the right topic to write in. Hope I'm in the right place
So here is my question, is it possible to add a function to 3D menu to watch 3D movies in 2D. Which will be displaying only the right or left side of a side by side 3D movie? (or upper or lower side of the vertical version)
I think it would be a useful and easy function to be programmed, and I'm asking for it because there are lots of people who have 3D movies as MKV files which doesnt contain the 2D version of the movie, so when you want to watch the same movie in 2D, it will be easy.
Thanks in advance.

Philips TVs
Hi all
I want to get a 3DTV at one point soon before Christmas is upon us. I’ve been looking around and so far I think the best 3D TVs I’ve found are on the Panasonic website:
http://www.panasonic.co.uk/html/en_G...290/index.html
However, I would like to go for a Philips TV. Do you know where I could find Philips TVs in the UK? I went on the website but
none are listed there…
http://www.philips-shop.co.uk/store/.../en?navCount=0
If possible, could you get back to me before the Christmas because I want to buy a new one for my hubby (and for me, of course, when he's not around). He likes the brand "Philips" - he has a Philips shaver and a Philips 12" mini laptop, so I'm sure he will be happy with this one. Ideally, I would like to see it first just to make sure it would fit in our living room. Is there a presentation store in Reading or in London? I'm sure there must be an official distributor or something...?
Sorry for all of the questions! Hopefully you can help me.
Thanks so much in advance,
Mel

Thanks Rafe,
