    Hi,

    since you can't switch the audio stream on your TV, I think there is a problem with the first audio stream. Does this stream work on a PC? Maybe it is a problem with "Delay relative to video : 28ms". Maybe you can recode your video with www.xmedia-recode.de and you only copy the video stream and the 2nd audio stream (no recode of both the video and 2nd audio stream).

    Hi,

    you can only switch the audio streams on Philips BD Player.

    @Philips
    This would be a nice feature for a future firmware release. You could place the audio stream switch menŁ in the option menŁ... also a subtitles functionality (*.SRT) which isn't supported at the moment.

    Hi,

    then it is up to Philips to solve that. Maybe you can make a short version of the file and contact Philips Support and send them the file.

    When I bought my 40PFL8605, I was very curious about the quality of the media player software to play media from USB.
    What I suspected was true: not very good. Lot's of media files have issues; they don't play at all or have issues.
    Thank god I've got a mediaplayer that supports up to 1080p, internal and external subs, mkv's avi's etc.
    AND: most important of course, most files play flawlessly without any remuxing, re-encoding etc.
