    TV stuck in a service mode?

    I just bought a new philips 40PFL5505D TV, I went to go turn it on tonight and when I do the tv appears to be in some sort of service mode, red, green, blue screens flash on the screen in a cycle and I cannot get the remote to respond. Any idea whats going on or how this can be fixed so the tv is back working as it should?

    Sounds like your TV is in CSM mode (you get that after entering 123654 on the RC). Do you see any "CSM" menu's?
    What could help is a hard reset, meaning to switch your TV off completely by unplugging the mains cable for some minutes.
    If that does not help, you probably have a faulty TV and need to contact your dealer or Philips.
