Saeco Odea Giro Plus
Hello, I bought an automatic coffe machine Saeco Odea Giro Plus and suddenly it grinds the coffee in very big pieces. I opened the Grinder and found that the upper ceramic disk just slipped off of its bayonet seats.
I re-placed it in its place but as soon as it starts grinding it slips off again although nothing is broken; maybe I adjust it for too fine grinding???. Anybody knows how to fit it correctly? Thanks a lot.

Sorry can't help you with that problem, I've never had it happen in one year of use. BUT, mine has recently shut itself completely off several times in the past few weeks. Has that ever happened to you?
And the web page sucks. How many menu selections really need to have me select my language on them?!!? I never was able to get my model number entered and never able to get anything of use except a phone number. AARRGGHH!

I agree with you. The website is terrible. We own a Saeco Vienna Plus. We purchased it exactly two years ago. Before the end of the first year, the on/off button broke off. I wrote to Saeco asking for a replacement. After numerous emails (they said we were out of warranty even though it hadn't been a year) they finally agreed to send a replacement button. I mean, how much could that really cost them? But they never did. About a month later, the grinder jammed. I contacted them again but they said too bad. Go to get it fixed. I paid $100 to fix a year old $500 coffee maker. Less than 11 months later, it is broken again. i called them again and told them the situation. They said so sorry, next time try a different coffee bean and pay $100 more to get it fixed again. For those of you thinking of purchasing a Saeco coffee machine, I suggest you look elsewhere. Seems that their grinders have issues.

Hi all,
Sorry but these products are not supported in this forum. There is however a "coffee" forum in Germany, take a look here: http://www.supportforum.philips.com/...6-Kaffee-Forum.
Maybe you can find your answers there.
If not, please contact your local helpdesk. You can start here: http://www.support.philips.com/suppo...g_selector.jsp
On this web page you then select REGION -> COUNTRY and click CONTACT, where you can find the local helpdesk telephone number. They will evaluate your case and give you advice.
Regards,
JuAnForum Mod
