Unhappy 42PFL6007H can not play FLAC sound from mkv?

    Hello,

I have a 42PFL6007H. I am trying to play a mkv file with the following format:

    RELEASE SIZE..: 17.9 GiB
    RUNTIME.......: 2h 0mn
    VIDEO CODEC...: x264,2pass, L4.1
    FRAMERATE.....: 23.976 fps
    BITRATE.......: 20.8 Mbps
    RESOLUTION....: 1920 x 1040
AUDIO.........: English FLAC 2.0 @509 Kbps
SUBTITLES.....: Japanese,English, Chinese,Swedish,Portuguese ,Norwegian, Finnish, Danish, Dutch,Spanish, Italian, French
    CHAPTERS......: Yes

I have tried to watch it via DLNA and USB, and I can see the film, but I can not hear anything, and no subtitles are available.

I played the file with a PC, with no problems.

How can I enjoy that kind of files into my 42PFL6007H?

    Thank you.

    Hi both of you.

I appologize for the late reply.

The reason why you do not get a sound is because FLAC is not supported audio codec on the TV. For full list of what codec that is supported, please see in the back of the User manual.

    Best regards,
    Benedickte
