I've tried endlessly to connect my Sony Home cinema system with surround sound to my pfl6606H/12 TV bought march this year. Final option is to try and connect via a headphone jack but am I right in thinking that this model does not support a 3.5 mm headphone jack? What this model has is an AUDIO IN: DVI/VGA stereo 3.5-mm mini-jack but ti've tried that and no luck.
