    Angry MKV DTS 5.1 only hear 2.0 in HTS3541/55

    My HTS3541 whit files mkv dts 5.1 the sound only hear 2.0.

    and after I put a MKV file test the speakers in sound options and do not hear nothing

    sorry for my inglish is very bad.

    looking at your attached image. you mean only mkv dts on pen drive doesnt work? can this be the source problem? does this happen to one mkv file and all your mkv files with dts in your pen drive?

    Hello

    All MKV files in others pendrives and dvd, have same problem.

    do you have a commercial disc with 5.1 sound to try and see if that works?
    are you connecting your set with HDMI already? how you connect your tv and your HTS?

    if 5.1 from commercial disc not work, guess you have to send a trimmed file to philips for a study.

    with original dvds I have similar problems


    when I do a test of the speakers. the system does not respond and the speakers do not sound

    You say you have similar problems or are they compeltely the same issue. Best is to get a file over for testing....
