np3500 and ogg vorbis support
It seems, that the np3500 can't play any of my ogg files. Are there any restricitions on the supported bitrates or other modes for ogg vorbis?

what firmware do you have?
as far as i remember, once you have updated the spotify firmware, you may not have the ogg vorbis feature.

but this may mean you will not have any future firmware upgrade including the Napster fix.

Well, I don't use napster nor spotify, but I have tons of music in ogg format. So going back to a firmware with ogg support would be a win for me. Originally Posted by kwinnie

Hi !
The MAC-address of your NP3500 is used by Philips to identify your NP3500.
It has helped several times to give them the MAC-address when there have been issues with registering the unit.
What lucas1970 is hinting is probably that if you publish your MAC-address, Philips might (!) be able to link it to an older Firmware that supports to ogg format.
