Help - GoGEAR Raga SA4RGA04PN/12

Hi,
I bought this model (SA4RGA/12 firmware 1.08) but when i upload a playlist from songbird to the mp3 player, it is not showing on the playlists. How do I put a playlist in this system

How can I also upgrade the firmware?
I follow the user's manual (Update the firmware through Philips Songbird) but i dont see any update firmware region like in pictures.

Can someone give me an advice?

Upgrade firmware?
- download songbird
- start songbird
- connect your raga 4 to the PC
- click on the name of your raga 4 in the left pane of songbird
- then in the main frame, you shud be able to see 'upgrade my player'.
- click on it and wait for the player to upgrade
- done

You dont see this? I just did the 1.14 firmware upgrade 2 days before. It does work like a charm.

For playlist.... you create the playlist in Songbird?
- in the left pane of Songbird
- click on the '+' sign in the playlist pane
- drag & drop the music file from the music library to the newly created playlist
- after this is done. make sure when you click on the newly created playlist, you see all the music files you just dropped in. if you cannot see that, you may have to restart the Songbird application.
- ok, when this is confirmed, you drag n drop the newly created playlist in playlist pane to the name of your raga in the left device pane.

then it shud be done...

What can I do?

this is quite strange...
but checked just now, it did show that upgrade screen.

may i know when you bought this? more specifically if it a black Friday model? thinking if you have a different version ...

I bought yesterday. In the box it says GoGEAR Raga SA4RGA04PN/12.

What should i do?

seems no, we have the same version.
you mind to have a repair and try? by doing so all info in your player will be removed. and by doing so, you will get the latest firmware.

Repair procedure:

- Start Songbird (dont have to plug in ur player first)
- Click on Tool in the top menu
- Select 'repair my device'
- Select the player in the pop up list - SA4RGA (Raga 4)
- There will be another pop-up shows you the instructions
- basically turn off your device completely
- press and hold the vol + key (up button ) and at the same time plug in the device to your PC
- the instruction message will disappear n repair will auto start.
- Wait & done

Try if this works?

It is weird, i dont see SA4RGA (Raga 4) option. Only SA3RGA and SA2RGA.

may i know how you install your songbird. i think it's that you are not using the right Songbird.

I will uninstall and install it again later.

I downloaded from here http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/d...=SA4RGA04PN/12 and after check updates inside songbird.
