Hi to everyone. I've got a philips 46pfl8606m and I'm experiencing a problem of audio glitch. More specifically, I have problem when I use my wdtv to watch a film and send audio and video via hdmi. It's really annoying and I'm constricted to use always a "Sound-Sysytem" instead of the tv's speakers, also for films that doesn't really require it.
Is there a solution to this problem?
Thanks in advance

I connected a USB keyboard + mouse to my 40pfl8606H/12 , upgraded with 14.104 firmware.
The keyboard is recognised OK and it works, but i can't use it in the youtube app. Is this supposed to work at all? Am i expecting the right thing here?

According to the user manual it should be possible...
See page 61 at
http://download.p4c.philips.com/file...12_dfu_eng.pdf
(or page 63 from the Dutch manual)

Please Philips. I see no news about any updates for tv 2011. Can you confirm if they are working on a new firmware? They served some faults with contributions provided on this board?
thanks

Have a 46PFL9706 bought it March 2012. No F/W or S/W updates seen for months while there are plenty of open bugs, it seems Philips is not interested anymore. I have sent 3 requests and everytime you get an automated response that they will contact you within 4 or 5 working days but they never do.
Regular spontanious "reboot/restart" conditions, poor implementation of PVR (via USB HDD), very slow NetTV..
Really start to regret I have bought such an expensive Philips TV. Actually this is my second "HighEnd" Philips Ambilight, my first was a 32PF9830/10 which also had reboot/restart issues which after 4 years happened multipe times per hour, obviously the TV was out of warranty then.

Have to agree. Have had my 46PFL9706 since February last year, my third Philips flat screen in 10 years plus CRT's before that. Thought it would be the last for many years but I am already looking to replace it with another (not Philips) after so many disappointments with this set. 'Dirty' screen, poor dynamic back-lighting (the whole reason I bought this model), 'flashing' etc. What is the point of owning this set when I have to turn off Dynamic back-lighting to cure some of these problems.? White titles on a black background that 'Pulse' as they scroll up at the end of films as they go over the different sections of the back-light. I am so, so frustrated with this set! Come on Philips, you have had more than enough money and loyalty from me over the years, how about paying us back with a decent update that will improve this!

The subtitle uploading function does not work most of the time. The Enable Pixel Plus link never works. I know because when I switch on my BDP8000 bluray picture modes (Standard, cold ...) the changes take effect at the tv, and the picture is very poor quality. This did not happen in previous versions when Pixel Plus link is activated, would have disabled all enhancements blu ray image, and this is not happening.

It is truly disturbing. They create a specific thread for us to report problems, but no signs of life. I do not know if you take out an update to fix all reported problems, but I fear that with the time that Philips does not give us information I fear that we are left with the TV issues unresolved.
