    TV-Channellising in IP-EPG

It will be very helpful if only the selected channel listing (e.g. Favorites) will be displayed in network EPG instead of all channels. (TV: 40PFL7605 SW 000.140.025)

    Hi,

you are right. The whole channel list concept is not fully conclusive. I have different lists. However, sorting a list - such as the favorite one - does not work. One can only sort the full channel list. The IP EPG uses also the full list as you stated. So it is only "half-usable" the whole concept.

This should be "fixed" by a firmware update.

The channel list design was horrifying me shortly after purchasing one and a half year ago. But I kept the tv 'cause of NetTV and some useful services like arte+7 and was hopefully in improving , since I found a paper with lot of various Open Source Licences of included software.

If for memory limitations (may be in 2010er devices they are less) could only be one list, then should be some more Tags/Atributes added to associate with the channels and to be able to sort/filter the hold list...

The currently only workaround for the channelising is to move the lot of unused/uninterested channel to the end of the list. But this takes a while.

Yes, you are absolutely right, but this is not only helpful...regarding the response time of the IP-EPG (it is horrible to navigate through hundreds of channels) this feature is absolutely necessary to use the EPG. Please limit the channel list of the EPG to the favorite list!

    Hi,

no - not limiting... but the IP-EPG should be sorted according to the actual chosen list...

Sorted was (so long it was working with my device) the IP-EPG acording to my channel list. The favourite list has the same order.
The wish would be, that only the channels from the current list are shown...

Or can you order your favourite list different from main channel list in 2010 devices?
