watch tv and desktop at the same time
are there any Philips LCD tvs that support the PiP or PBP technology?
I ask because i want to be able to watch a tv channel and at the same time also see my computer desktop on screen... is this possible?

Hi,
with the 21:9 you got Multiview. There you can combine HDMI + Net TV, or HDMI with TV...

the 21:9 is the high end display, what about cheaper models at 40"-42"?

No there is not. Only previous Philips models did that...
(Features tend to be removed from Philips TVs as time passes by...
2007: double tuner was removed
2008: PIP/PAP with external source was removed
2009?: DTS passthrough was removed
And the list will probably get longer
)
