NP3700 CD tracks ordered alphabetically
Hello,
I've got an annoying problem when listening to my ripped cd's with my NP3700. My mp3's (and .wma's) are stored on a network harddrive. The NP3700 recognizes the cd's and all tracks perfectly. The only thing is that the order of the tracks is not right. I want to play the tracks in the same order as on the cd, but the NP3700 sorts the tracks alphabetically.
The name of the mp3 files begin with the track number, like this: "01 Cochise.mp3", "02 Show me how to live.mp3" "03 Gasoline.mp3" etc. The NP3700 ignores the numbers, but sorts based on the first letters of the track name (in this order: Cochise, Gasoline, Show me how to live).
I already tried to change the track names like this: "a Cochise.mp3" "b Show me howto live .mp3" "c Gasoline", but that doesn't help.
Does somebodyknow how to fix this problem?

The NP3700 doesn't sort the tracks, it just shows what it is fed from the hosting UPnP server.
So I recommend that check you server for some options on how it should sort/display the tracks.
Cheers !

Thanks Tias, I'll check my server setting.
I also found a "workaround":
I just played music from my laptop (windows 7) on the NP3700. The album tracks have the same names as on my network drive, but now the tracks are ordered correctly.

Yes.
As you can see, different servers handles/sorts the lists differently
Cheers !
