    No sound from DTV channels

    Hi,

    I have a Philips Soundbar (CSS2123/f7) connected to a Philips 22" LCD TV (22pfl3504def7b) via a coaxial cable.

    The TV is connected to basic analog cable and I have no issues with sound from all tv channels. My issue arrises when I try to listen to DTV audio only channels (radio). Whenever I switch to one of these channels (ie 111.30) I hear a pop sound from the soundbar, the surround light blinks and then nothing. I do have sound from the tv speakers but nothing from the soundbar itself.

    I suspect somehow the TV cannot transmit digital sound to digital coax?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Since I'm at it, I assume there is no way to use the TV remote to control the soundbar, right?
