One buttom recording

I have the older remote with no rec buttom, but would like to be able to use one buttom recording.
The blue buttom seems to be free. Could you assign it for recording in an update

I'm having similar issues - I am unable to make mine record from the program guide at all. I have updated the TV and the Program Guide to the latest version but I am stuck!

I can pause live TV so the external hard drive it is connected and working. I have attached an image of my remote - as Polips says - there doesn't seem to be an obvious record button.

I then tried to use the MyRemote app - the Control menu works which works for changing channel etc but when I try to go to the TV guide I need a Mobile Link Code - it tells me to press the yellow button when the guide is open - but this just takes me to the last menu item I was in so I can't access that.

When I press the red button at the bottom of the home page on the App I get a message on screen saying I 'need program information from the internet'. What does this mean? In the set up instructions for the external harddrive it says to set the Settings. Preferences, Program Guide to 'from network'.

Please help!
