    Fidelio E5 CSS7235Y Charging Problem

    Hi,

I have recently (last few days), received an E5 system purchased brand new.

I have set the system up as per the user guide and have an issue with the right hand wireless speaker (dockable top speaker).

After an over night charge, I watched an hours worth of film and I noticed the speakers LED had changed from solid white to solid red. In the manual this is explained as 30% or less power remaining. I was a bit surprised as this isn't a good battery life. The second issue connected to the first problem is that when the right speaker was docked for a 3hr charge the Orange LED didn't extinguish (after many hours, still orange where as the left is extinguished). Just to note, I have no issue with the left wireless speaker top; it holds its charge and the Orange LED extinguishes after a 3 hour charge.

    Can anyone help?..

    Cheers,

    Tom

    Hi Tom,

Does it have repetitive behavior after you applied factory settings and paired speakers with the main unit again?.

    Thank you

Hello. I'd like to reopen this topic because I just bought your system with the same exact problem. Your tips on resetting and pairing again didn't help. The right satellite is just charging forever, I had 24 hours of orange led and it hadn't charged to the full. Is there an acknowledgement of this problem at least from Philips and the solution?
