I recently just got a BDP3406 bluray player to replace my old DVD player and everything works great with it. I have a SRP4004 universal remote control that I use to control my devices and I am able to program it to work the new player. The only problem is that I don't seem to have any button on it that will take me to a DVD menu. The MENU button on it will take me to the player home where you select the media options such as Netflix or USB rather than the menu for the disc. I have tried pressing every single button and nothing works. Does anyone know of a good way to program this remote to have a button that will bring up the DVD menu? Given that they are both Philips brand devices I should think this would be possible. I would hate to have to keep two remotes out on the table or buy a different universal remote simply over one function not working.
