SimplyShare only loading and smart screen not working

Hi,
We recently bought a Philips TV; 46PFL7007.

I have installed the MyRemote app on my iPhone4, and wanted to share the images and music i have on my phone to my TV. However, when I start the app an enter the SimplyShare, it only says "loading" and nothing appeares. The TV says that there are no playable files ("Ingen spillbare filer i denne mappen" in Norwegian).

I have tried reinstalling the app and restarting the phone several times.

Also, I've been trying to use the Wi-Fi smart screen, but only get a message that I need a digital TV broadcast. I do have digital TV, but via an external PVR box from our supplier conected to the TV with an HDMI-cabel. Does this not work with the Wi-Fi smart screen?

I appreciate any feedback and tips. :-)

i am from istanbul turkey and having the same problem when i try to use the wifi smart screen
ending up with the same message
still searching the forums and asking people in techno shops
until now noone even understands it
probably it is due to the broadcast
if i find a solution i will inform you
if you have already solved it can you pls advise how to do it

Hi,

The same for me with 40PFL5507H/12 and iPad3.
I'm able to see the device iPad3 from the TV, but there are no playable files, while running the MyRemote app from Android with a Samsung Tablet 7.0" everything is ok and i can stream video recorder with the Android tablet.

Is there any suggestion from Philips support in order to solve the iPad3 issue ?

Hey! this is a very fast service !! :-)

Just asked to solve something and the possible solution is still ready to be downloaded from the Apple Store. :-) I will test it this evening , as soon I will be in my house.

Concerning the wifi SmartScreen feature, do you think we could expect to have it available also for the PFL55x7 in the future?

- open myremote
- simplyshare stil don't work :-( i got the Message from iPad3: gallery_disabled_title gallery_enable_message

Helo Toeangel, I downloaded ver 3.13. Wi fi smartscreen icon does not appear on the app.Does that mean my tv does not support wi fi smartscreen??

Bought Philips 47PFL6007 (v150.087) last week for the following features which Philips 'claim' to work:
- Wifi Smart Screen
- Simply Share
- USB Recording

NONE OF IT WORKS AT ALL!! On top of that, the menu is so slow and the sound quality is hollow and soft. Very disappointed with this product and Phlips support is the worst I ever come across. They only reply once to your email and their 'answers' doesnt solve your problem at all.

Will never ever buy any Philips products from this bad experience and will not recommand friends to get too.

As expected no reply from Philips again! This is the kind of 'support' u will get from them.. No support at all.

They don't bother and will never get returning customers.. No wonder they are way out of Samsung which has far much better support cos Samsung value their customers. I won't buy anything Philips products again!!!
