PHILIPS : info about next firmware?

Philips know if the next firmware release (Series 7000) there will be new feature?

there is at least one additional firmware planned for 2011

It will be released, when it's done!

Hi,

first thing is always fixing bugs (as you see in this and other forums, there are some...).

The next big feature will be the videostore (as advertised in september last year at the IFA). WE WANT THE VIDEOSTORE SOON, please!

Adding features is always a political decision. New features are often planned for the next generation...

the Info bar there was present on 2009 models ! why is not present in 2010

the media player for usb video is very poor of function for a 2010 model !!!

I agree, you cannot add new features on the new models en forget the users who have an old model but bought an expensive tv like the 8000 en 9000 series. The infobar is at thing that must be on a philips tv, no doubt or question abut that, Philips is fooling its customers ny not implementing this feature. This belongs to an expensive tv an can be expected by EVERY customer that buys an tv.

Also other new features should be implemented in the old series when it can be done, thats customer service where I paid for whem I bought the tv that I will use for 10 years at least.
