Night Vision Terrible
I have the B120 and the night vision is nearly unusable. The picture quality is terrible and I can barley even see my child, let alone see a clear image like the iBaby monitor. Yes I have the infrared/night vision turned on. The daytime video is great quality, but once the sun even starts to go down the image quality drops dramatically.
I have read others comment that their night vision is great- which makes me think I have a bad camera or not all of the infrared LED's are working. I have attached a screen shot. Can you let me know if this is typical quality? The camera is about 6 feet/2 meters from the crib.
Thank you for the help

Dear gringly,
We would like to understand more on your screenshot - may I know how long the app had been running by the time you took this screenshot?
Thanks for giving your comments here. We have actually submitted a new version of app which should have improved this situation for approval. It will soonest be live the end of next week if no critical issues reported.
With thanks & regards,

The app was open for a few minutes when I took that screenshot. I have attached new screenshots:
insightir= The in.sight camera, with room light on, in IR mode- great quality
insightnightir1min= The in.sight camera, at night, in IR mode, app open 1 minute- poor quality
insightnightir5min= The in.sight camera, at night, in IR mode, app open 5 minutes, even poorer quality
ibabynightir- Screenshot taken with iBaby monitor in same room as in.sight at same time, at night, in IR mode. great quality at half the resolution.

Thank you for the quick reply and I look forward to the app update!

Dear gringly,
We have a new version of app 2.2 released. Would you please test if it improves the night vision performance?
With thanks & regards,

The app update did not improve the night vision performance. The image quality is still very poor, and the auto setting is still very buggy. I have a feeling I have a bad monitor as other reviews state their night vision quality is great. Any way to exchange the monitor?

Dear gringly,
We are sorry to hear that from you.
If that is so, we suggest you to contact our call center for your Night Vision issue and arrange an exchange.

gringly, did receiving a new camera improve the night vision? My camera performs similarly to your screencaps, wondering if Philips just has limited quality to their night vision compared to the other hardware you're using or if we have bum cameras.
