TV Model: 47PFL6907T
Previous Firmware: 150.48
Negative:
- Dynamic Backlight Flicker (also present in previous firmware).
- HDNM (does not seem to work. picture distorts - was same in previous firmware)
- Menu seems very slow (was the same in previous firware)
- USB 3.0 Flash Memory Stick not working (same problem in previous firmware) (tv says USB detected - reading files, however, this message does not go away. When you go into USB source, it says no USB device detected.
I only received my TV yesterday and am considering sending it back. The picture quality is fantastic, however, the backlight flicker and HDNM issues are concerning.

Hello,
Update done, here are my feedbacks
TV Model: 47PFL6907
Previous Firmware: 133.X dowgrade with philips support because of noise when chanel change
Positive:
+ No sound when change channel
+ Faster navigation in the menu
+ No probleme with Dynamic Backlight flicker
Negative:
- HDNM issue always persists (please focus on this bug for next update) If it's an hardware issue, Philips have to fix it
- Social TV doesn't work on smart Tv
- Menu are very very old-fashioned, please look at Samsung UI

Previous Firmware: 150.48
Negative:
- Dynamic Backlight Flicker (disappears with the setting off)
- ~5 pixels image shift to the right with Game-/Computer-mode
- Slow menus (I'd prefer snappy flat menus over slow animations)

TV Model: 47PFL6007K/12
Previous Firmware: 0.133.3.0 + 0.150.48.14
Positive:
+ improved speed
Negative:
- cracking noise with HDMI-source (IPTV-receiver Full-HD) still exists with fw0.150.81.0_bld8a
(cracking noise randomly / not repeatable, until ~1/2 sec. after switching channel)
Addition 12-26-2012+ff.:
Firmware on German product-page now has been updated to 0.150.81, on German support-page to version 0.150.82;
Cracking noise via HDMI-source also with fw. 0.150.82 still exists (randomly at the moment of switching the channel via IPTV-receiver;
experiences of other users also see: TV software 2012 mod.,
"HDMI sound problem after upgrading firmware") !
** This problem did not occur with my previus TV (other brand),
but now already with exchanged 2nd Phil. 47PFL6007K/12 ! **Last edited by techinspector; 01-17-2013 at 08:07 PM.

TV Model: 40PFL8007K/12
Previous Firmware: 0.150.048.14
Positive:
+ Found new device popup seems gone (by the way, seems that after downgrading back to 150.048.14 its gone there to..not tested thorough!)
Negative:
- Very annoying crackling noise introduced (was not there with former FW revision; I downgraded to be sure) Tested with flac and mkv. Crackling occurs when starting or when skipping chapters. In some cases cracking does even not stop anymore.

TV Model: 55PFL8007k
Previous Firmware: 150.48
Negative:
- Remote still acts up, now the led is blinking when i press buttons but nothing happens
- Graphical glitch in options (icons not aligned)
- TV is doing something at nights, it switches on several times every night (WTF?!?). HDD's spin up, last night it switched on 6am for 5min and then again 6:13am for 2min. This is ABSURD! What kind of a feature is this?
