hmp5000 media player does nog recognize MKV files
Hello,
I have just bought the Philips HMP5000 media player and connected it to my TV and LAN network. It works fine and recognises the drive and directories.
However, it does not recognise (large) MKV (matroska) video files. If I convert them to DIVX in the same directory it does recognise and play them.
If I put the MKV on a usb stick it does recognise and play it.
Help!

I have the same issue. Mkv files can be played from usb drive or external hard drive but not from a network. The device cant even find the mkv files through the network connection.
What is the problem here?
