WIFI Media Connect keeps searching for TV on Internet
HelloGuys:
My TV: Philips 40PF L7705DV/F7 s ia week old. My Netflix works fine but WiFi media connect doesn't. Installed and uninstalled software several times; blocked Firewall in Windows7 and in AVAST antivirus but nothing happens. Spent over 2 hours with Philips Tech Supp. Icon keeps showing "searching for TV on the internet". Did any one have same issue and is there a remedy for it? I use a good quality Linksys router for wireless conection and have high speed broad band internet service. My PC is Lenove G550. Thank you!

Hi,
try the following: be sure the wlan dongle is present on your tv. Then connect your TV with wired LAN to your router and then try to connect with WiFi-MediaConnect via wired lan.

Thanks Toengel but wired connections are not an option for me. It appears most users have issues with Wifi media connect. Thanks anyways.

Hi,
my procedure is only a way to find out where the problem is... if it works temporary via wired lan, you have a problem with your WLAN...
