No HDMI connection - no video signal on TV
Since two weeks I suddenly lost HDMI connection. It doesn't matter witch external device I want to use with the TV, the Tv doesn't find a video signal.
I tried every of the 4 HDMI ports and 3 different HDMI cables that worked before.
The only one thing that has changed is a settopbox from Telfort. It worked fine for a few weeks and then suddenly the video signal was gone but on all HDMI channels.
Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

I'm suffering just the same. I can't see anything via hdmi, take a look what I've just posted 2 minutes ago... What have you done? Did you find some solution?
"
Hi,
I've bought a 46PFL8007k/12 only 15 days ago. I've connected two external devices via hdmi (XBOX & Woxter Multimedia Center) and everything was perfect but, suddenly, the other day, when I turned on the Tv and I tried to play with the console, I was unable to do it because in the TV I've only got the 'No video signal' message...
Then, I tried to swap the Hdmi cables, the ports... But with the surprise that I hadn't no signal in any ports, doesn't matter what I connected to. Now, I can't see anything via hdmi!
Of course, I've tried to change ports, cables, check the devices with other tv (and it was OK), check the same devices with other connectivity (XBOX via Scart was ok)... And it seems like problem is located in every Hdmi ports of the TV... I don't know if it has some sense....
Also I tried to restart the tv with factory settings, just to see if hdmi ports has some 'memory' and tv records what it's connected to, and if you change the devices from one port to another it becomes crazy... But nothing....
This is really annoying... Does someone suffer something similar? I would be very grateful with some help, suggestion...
Thank you very much,
Eduardo

Hi Eduardo,
Yeah, it's frustrating. I also checked cables and tried all the 4 hdmi ports. I've read it's a typical Philps tv problem and Philips is not showing any help. I contacted them (helpdesk) for three weeks ago now and had no respons at all.
I found a solution in an other thread. See below. This did help for restoring tv connection. I still don't have connection on the side HDMI port. In an other threat someone suggested to leave the power off for at least 8 hours.
One thing: did you already download and install the latest software?
Good luck
Joke
I had the same problem yesterday.
I finally reset the tv by disconnecting it from the power for at least 30 sec. (pull the power cable form the mains)
Than reconnect the power cable and wait till the red light (led) comes on. (this can take 5 to 10 sec.)
Restart the tv with the remote control and wait at least 10 sec. before pressing any other buttons.
This might help.

I've tried everything, also solution you've mentioned... :-(((
I've upgraded the tv to the latest firmware, and reinstalled it again... But nothing.
Finally, I've contacted with local service and, after telling them every tests I had done, they've finally decided to send a technician on site to see it in a few days...
Let's see what happens... I will keep you updated. But anyway, I don't like what's happening. It doesn't seem it's an individual failure, I really think PHILIPS have a problem with HDMI ports management... And it's absolutely unacceptable with a tv of these characteristics.

Last week i bought myself a 55pfl8007k/12.
When connecting my other devices to the tv.
The tv found 3 devices connected on hdmi.
To my surprise only 1 device is showing video.
It doesn't matter to wich hdmi port i connect the other devices but it is not showing any video.
When i connect the other devices to my old tv with hdmi i have video instantly.
Very annoying

Join the club... had the same problem.
Still haven't got any help from Philips (not even an acknowledgement) after a week, so don't hold your breath.
What has worked for some people is to disconnect all power to the tv and devices and wait a few minutes (some say hours).
This worked for me in the end (after several tries, and some really odd results, like losing all sound instead). But now I have a new problem with the digital tv decoder not showing HD channels... according to the cable company, its the TV that seems to be refusing to accept the updated privileges they are sending to my card!

Hello and thank you for this reply. Truth is - didn't help. I still have NO Video Signal on all HDMI channels. I disconnected the TV for many hours, disconnected ALL HDMI devices (and reconnected...) and nothing!

i'm losing my mind with my 47PFL6007/k/12 HDMI connection problems .. I've returned TV to local service, and they fixed that problem, replacing SSB modul... and guess what... HDMI DOES NOT WORK... DVD player (PHILIPS DVP***) is found souch as new device, but there is NO VIDEO SIGNAL... same thing with my laptop... I've got really enough... i'll throw this TV through window... Philips, can you please fix that problem with connectivity... Over 1.000,00 EUR for TV and such failure... I'm really disappointed with the whole thing...

I have the same problem. I've purchased my 46PFL8007 in december 2012 and connected it with Sony PS3 via HDMI cable. This worked just fine untill two days ago. Now i get "no video signal" message all the time on all of 5 HDMI ports. i've tried with "factory restore", disconnection of all other devices, power supply off, latest TV software reinstallation, Sony PS3 software update, HDMI cable switch,... I've tried to connect some other device too (Philips DVD Player), but the result is the same - no video signal. When I connect the device for example to the HDMI 3 the device is detected but after few seconds the "no video signal message".
Any suggestion would be very helpfull and most welcome. Please help!
Best Regards,
Vitko
