Sorry for the delay. And I have the same problem as in your video а.к.а. ghosting/blurring (d)effect. I did't made a clip because it would be exactly the same as yours.

This one is 32" we use it only for watching TV in the bedroom and I sometimes play games on PS3
I was thinking to change my 42 "Toshiba in the living room with 42" or more Phillips, but definitely not a 55xx series
    Samsung panel good or bad?
What about Sharp panel, they have this ghosting/blurring problem?

    Sorry for the off topic

let's talk for something that bother me from the day that I buy this TV.
When will we have 1251 or utf-8 subtitles??? It's a shame to sell tv's in Bulgaria, and they don't have Cyrillic sub's!

5507 is good tv, but not for gaming. My tv is professional calibrated and i love the picture quality, black level are great and contrast is 3484:1 ANSI this is better than higher range tv's from samsung.Philips must do something with response time in game mode, add some feature like LCD overdrive, smart response etc.

I have the Philips 5507 with the code 400 (Sharp) and i can confirm that the ghosting problem with dark content is clearly visible. I contacted Philips month ago about the problem, and they said that they tv is going to repair. It went to repair and i was contacted by the repair center and they said that there was no visible problems with it and they sent it back and the ghosting is still visible. And in the repair process i think they damaged the panel, because after the repair i noticed the corners appear to bleed more light through.

It is a shame that such a great tv has a drawback as severe as that. Hopefully they can make it better with a FW update or something.

I have the 32PFL40007H/12 and in the last two firmwares i notice on PC and PS3 games with 60fps wavy motion (like vsync off but without the screen tearing) on vertical and horizontal movement.
Also on movies (24p-50p-60p with all sources on Hdmi) especially on fast panoramic movements and with movies with camera shots with smoother motion(for example paranormal activity) the problem is very intense and dizzy.(like gel)
Of course HD Natural motion is off.
Is my tv defective or the firmware has destroyed the motion?

    Hi,

I recently bought this tv and I'm wondering if anybody have the same problem when playing PS3.
everytime a start a new game, there is always static flash screen of 1 second.

I've updated to the latest firmware, and it still have the same problem.

my hdmi cable and PS3 are perfectly fine. I've used them previously on Sony and Panasonic TV, and I never encountered this problem. Can Philips provide any support?

After 5 months of firmware updates i am still waiting for:

Support RGB 0-255 without dynamic brightness(except pc mode). In active control menu show it as dynamic contrast.
Dynamic backlight with smaller steps or adjusting threshold because now is useless.
Sound auto volume leveling that function.
Option for disable 3:2 and 2:2 pulldown.
I don't care about subtitles support because 540 euros are very few for such luxury.
Don't you see the blue and red clipping on all test patterns?
And at last and most important someday fix the damned motion(in last update is like gel with some zones of screen moving in different speed from others)(i explain 2 posts above).

I have my tv switched off and i seeing movies on my TN pc monitor and an ancient sony lcd tv from 2000 a.d.
    I have the 32pfl4007h/12.

Where i can find all previous firmwares and choose the best for me?
With the latest firmwares you ruined my tv with slurry-gelly-pottery motion.
