Please write in English. This is an English forum.
What is your model number TV, and what exactly were these UPC instructions you followed? Which UPC settopbox do you have?

UPC remote control & connection with Philips TV
The UPC remote control does not connect with the Philips TV 40PFL7007. I used all de codes that UPC provides with PHilips Televisions and I tried the provided back up plan. No succes. Anyone else dealt with problem before?
The settop box is de Mediabox for HD TV and with harddisk

1. Maybe stupid question, but does the front LED light up on the TV when you press a key on the UPC RC?
2. What is that backup plan exactly?
3. What does UPC say?

UPC RC & Philips PFL 7007
Yes, yeh TV led does lid up when I press the UPC RC. The UPC RC simply can not be activated to switch on/off the TV. Philips Customer Service acknowledges that some functions on the UPC RC/Mediabox do not work together with the Philips TV. So no other solution than to use two RC's , one of Philips to switch on and off & one of UPC to do the rest.
