P9X not being able to connect via bluetooth to Windows 8

I followed the paring procedures for the P9X but cannot get it to be connected to my laptop. On the "blue tooth" settings, it showed my P9X as paired. However, I do not hear the beep from the P9X nor does the light turned solid white. The P9X, however, works fine with my iPhone. I have also tried clearing the paring memory and unpair my iPhone. Nothing works.... HELP!!

I was pairing this on another computer running windows 8.1. I unpair the speaker from windows. Cleared the memory of the speaker. Downloaded and ran the software from Broadcom.com. It couldn't go past the "Detect Bluetooth" device stage.

On the other hand, while I was using windows to pair, I can hear the connection beep and lost in connection beep continuously. I am guessing the connection kept on dropping as soon as it connects.

Maybe that's why the Broadcom.com softrware couldn't even locate the device due to an unsatable Bluetooth connection. Any thoughts?

    Hello,

Is the speaker still under warranty?

Yes it is. Instead of using the software to update the Bluetooth driver for the P9, is there a place I can download the Bluetooth driver for the P9 manually? I notice it is currently using a Microsoft driver?
