Baby Monitor permanently reads 2 - 3 degrees too high
Anyone else found inaccuracy in the baby monitor thermometer?
Mine consistently reads at least 2 degrees too high. I have checked the room temp with every thermometer I can get my hands on, and they all agree with each other, except the philips. Due to rounding error sometimes shows 2 or 3 degrees higher than true.
Assuming its consistent I can potentially adjust my alerts to allow for this, though it's somewhat of a kludge... is it faulty? is there an adjustment somewhere? is it generating too much heat of its own?
