Bdp7500b2/05 Sound problem

Hi, I have a 7500b2/05, which I have had for 13 months and was great. However, about 2 weeks ago it started dropping the sound for about 2 seconds every 8 minutes or so. It's really annoying. I've tried different blu-ray discs, changed the hdmi cable, plugged into a different hdmi port on tv, no change. doesn't loose the picture, just goes silent. Any ideas?

Running version 1.60 of firmware, connected to tv via hdmi, no external speakers. Not the tv, as I also have a he'd recorder that doesn't have the problem.

Thanks for response. Done both, now on 1.63, and a factory reset. Still doing it.

Should have added that if you rewind straight after it drops the sound, the sounds plays fine through that bit, so it's not always the same bit of the film.

Should mention that if you rewind the disk so you play the bit that dropped the sound, the sound works, so it's not a specific bit of the disk / movie.

Any other ideas?

Only idea that is left is service if it happens on different discs etc...
