40PFL6606H the Screen goes black at random for 1-2 sec

Hello,

I have 2 problems on a new pc:

I connected the pc via HDMI to Philips 40PFL6606H the Screen goes black at random for 1-2 sec.

I have installed the newest firmware: V 000.014.104.000, still the same.

The setting PC-Modus cannot be selected (grayed out)


The other problem, when I switch off/on the pc the TV is not switching on/off like a pc monitor the easy-link is enabled I have an Intel HD Graphic 4000 card & ASUS P8Z77-V DELUXE motherboard.

Please any solution?

Hi Dhaan.

Please make sure your PC is set to the resolution supported by the TV ( can be found in the maunal or link i've provided), also that all drivers are up to date on the PC.

Just to confirm, the HDMI cable you are using, is this a HDMI-HDMI or HDMI-VGA cable?

Please see this link for further setup PC > TV.

If your PC does not have a option for easylink this feature will not work as a monitor as the requirement for this to work is that both devices got easylink enebled.

I have the exact same issue with my 46PFL6806T. The sound goes numb also during this time. It can occure when just surfing in a web browser or in the middle of a movie playback.
