Since yesterday when I try to record on any DTV channel I just get a black screen with the six white dots flashing at the bottom, but nothing happening. Same for the program list.
I guess that the Smart TV is trying to reach a Philips site on Internet which is not responding.
Same For the program list my previous TV set was getting the information from the digital signal itself and was not trying to reach a remote site on Internet. I had the full list of all channels instantly with the timing information.
This is an absolutely wrong design, and I am very unhappy. The software should use the DTV signal metadata if the site is not responsive. This is not a failsafe design at all and wrong.
